So no wonder paper folding is a fascination of scientists, mathematicians, and musicians. It is an educational tool for all kinds of mathematics. Paper in our culture is a humble medium without an archival longevity making the paper folded masterpieces hard to be seen as valuable for marketing. The process of making incredible paper art is most valuable to the artist/scientist.
