Acrylic painting class Grace Center day care for adults
Tuesday seven participants painted 8"Masonite blocks. These two were a demonstration of Negative positive areas and painting with rags, sticks, variegated scrapers as well as brushes. The class remained engaged for well over an hour.
I am afraid that all the participants at the adult day care in one way or another are not capable of setting up painting for themselves at this point in time. I do have an idea of making the boxes mini studios with art supplies kept in back. The masonite square blocks would also be display cases for the most recent work and storage for older work on paper.

Good to hear from you Rob.
I have been asked back to teach and can probably work it in early next year.
I hope your students find this the beginning of using art to express themselves. Sounds like an excellent class for them.

A very expressive and loose painting. Beautiful work.
