We saw evidence of the drug wars while visiting Mexico tourist cities. There were many armed guards present. I felt nervous about wondering alone away from the main tourist shops. In Zihuatanejo, The guards had drug smelling dogs. In Puerto Chiapas there were military helicopters flying along the coast like a coast guard. At Cabo San Lucas I haad a notion to walk down some streets way from the tourist area. One look down the empty street and I turned around to return to the safty of the ship. I think this drug problem should be addressed with a final solution fot the sake of the investments being made to bring more tourism and friendly exchange. Bigger cruise ships are being built, a deeper bigger Panama Canal will bring more foreign exchange of goods and prosperity.
