The Tree House of Olden Times

The family who lived here before us had a little boy who drives by every now and then to view his best childhood climbing tree. One blackened board still hangs in among the perfectly trimed branches. He says that at Christmas time they use to hang a star on the tree. Now in a few months a new family will build there home by this tree and the tree will again hear the laughter of children.

I'm really enjoying your blog. I can't tell if you are selling these pieces, though. If you are, please email me here(at)debredemers(dot)com

Thank you for the compliment. Sorry! The oil paintings on this site are not for sale yet. They will possibly be in one of two exhibitions. One is at the Benton County Museum in Philomath, Oregon April 12 - July 9. The other exhibit is in June at the LaSelles Convention Center on the Oregon State University campus. I will try to figure out what your web site is like. And contact you. I have other work for sale at Pegasus Art Gallery linked to this site.

Thank you. The piece that really struck me is likely long gone. That would be "Painting in Tibet" from Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Good luck with your exhibitions. The work is gorgeous.

The painting of the Tibetan Monk sitting in the moestary window is available. He was very friendly and enjoyed sketching in my book. He liked my rush pen and I gave it to him. He was very much impacted by the modern world you will see if you read the painting. And the painting is still available. If you are interested please contact my gallery. It was posted a few years ago on their web site. Just click on my link to Pegasus Art Gallery. They are open next on Tuesday
