Expressionist Painting, "Last Birch Tree Leaves Holding On"

"Last Birch Tree Leave Holding On" is acrylic on stretched canvas, 7" x 5", $95, to purchase e-mail me. It is very stormy today and I strated painting outside only to seek shelter in our pump house where I could still see the birch trees. When I finished a few drops of rain fell as I took it back to our house.

Hi Diane, thanks for the visit to my blog. I love the excitement in your paintings, colors and lines moving, shining, mingling...

Thank you for your kind comment on my painting. I not only admire your technical skill, but I enjoy the window your work opens to me of a woman's view of Istanbul, Turkey, the country of my great grandfather.

yapincak gurerk okyar,
I visited your blog today and tried over and over to leave messages but there is a padlock icon on the blog that wasn't there the other day.
I too have felt uplifted by the process of painting a little painting evry day and it does awaken my searching eye. There is so much more that I am seeing around my home to paint. I really like your color shapes and the mood they give me.
